Summary

Starmosaic does not ask for an account, your name, email, contacts, location or photos. Your puzzle progress stays on your phone.

Data stored on your device

Progress, saved games, settings and simple usage counters (for example, how many puzzles you solved) are saved only in the app’s private storage on your phone. They are not sent to us. They are excluded from cloud backup and device transfer, and are deleted when you uninstall the app or use Settings › Reset progress.

Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob on menu screens, between puzzles, and when you choose to watch one for extra hints. Ads never appear during a puzzle. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google’s software in the app may collect device information such as the advertising ID, IP address, app and device details, and ad interactions. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalised.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and some US states) you are asked for your choice before ads are requested, and you can change it at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

Network

All puzzles, including the daily puzzle, work fully offline. The app uses the internet only to request ads and consent forms from Google. All connections use HTTPS (cleartext traffic is disabled).

Permissions

INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE (ads), AD_ID (advertising ID for ads), VIBRATE (optional haptic feedback). No location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or notification permissions.

Age

Starmosaic is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed at children. Ads are limited to content rated T or lower.
