About the game

Place the stars. Every row, every column and every outlined region needs the same number of stars, and no two stars may touch, not even diagonally. Simple rules, deep logic.

Every puzzle in Starmosaic has exactly one solution, proven by a computer solver, and can be solved by logic alone. Difficulty is graded by the techniques a puzzle needs, and hints explain the next deduction instead of just giving away the answer.

    One-star puzzles from 5×5 to 10×10 and two-star puzzles from 10×10 to 12×12. A new daily puzzle at midnight, the same for everyone, with a streak to build.

  • Hints that teach

    A hint explains the next logical step and outlines the cells involved; you decide whether to apply it. Check is free and unlimited, and you can learn named techniques like the two-line squeeze, 2×2 blocks and "what if" chains.

  • Play your way

    Tap to place dots and stars, drag to dot many cells, and undo or redo freely. Optional auto-dots, mistake highlighting, timer, and region letters for colour-blind players.

  • No lives, no energy

    No time limits and no punishments. Play the puzzles in a pack in any order, earn up to 3 crowns per puzzle, unlock awards and follow your stats.

  • Accessible

    Zoom for large grids and full TalkBack support, with a label for every cell.

  • Respectful ads, works offline

    No ads during a puzzle, ever. Short ads appear only between puzzles, and not after every one; watching an ad for extra hints is always optional. Every puzzle works offline and your progress stays on your device.
