Privacy Policy

Quillvane (“the app”) is a cryptogram puzzle game for Android (package com.quillvane.cryptogram) published by GameHub Official. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app. The same text is shown in the app under Settings › Privacy policy.

Summary

Quillvane does not ask for an account, your name, email, contacts, location or photos. Your puzzles and progress stay on your phone. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, never while you are solving a puzzle.

Data stored on your device

Progress, solved quotes, favourites, settings and simple usage counters (for example, how many puzzles you solved) are saved only in the app’s private storage on your phone. They are not sent to us or anyone else. They are excluded from cloud backup and device transfer, and they are deleted when you uninstall the app or use Settings › Reset progress.

Advertising

The app shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the app may collect and share with Google device information such as:

• the advertising ID and app set ID,
• IP address (which may be used to estimate your approximate location),
• app and device details, and diagnostics about the SDK,
• interactions with ads (for example, views and taps).

Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalised. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and some US states) you are asked for your choice before ads are requested, and you can change it at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. Ad content is limited to material suitable for teens (rated T or lower).

Sharing quotes

If you tap Share, the text of that quote is handed to the app you choose in Android’s share sheet. Nothing else is shared, and the app does not see what happens next.

In-app review

After some puzzles, the app may ask Google Play to show its rating card. Any rating or review you give is handled by Google Play.

Network use

All puzzles are built into the app and work fully offline. The app uses the internet only to request ads and consent forms from Google. The app does not use unencrypted (cleartext) connections.

Permissions

INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE (ads), AD_ID (advertising ID for ads), VIBRATE (optional haptic feedback, can be switched off in Settings). No other permissions are requested.

Children

Quillvane is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Data stays in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot read. App data is excluded from Android backups.

Your choices

• Turn ad personalisation choices on or off in Settings › Ad privacy choices (where offered).
• Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.
• Delete all game data with Settings › Reset progress or by uninstalling the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published with an app update and at this address, with a new “Last updated” date.
