Privacy Policy

Summary

Puttwright does not ask for an account, your name, email, contacts, location or photos. Your games stay on your phone.

Data stored on your device

Progress, scores, settings, player names you type for pass and play, and simple usage counters (for example, how many holes you finished) are saved only in the app’s private storage on your phone. They are not sent to us. They are excluded from cloud backup and device transfer, and are deleted when you uninstall the app or use Settings › Reset progress.

Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob on menu screens, between courses, and when you choose to watch one for a mulligan. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google’s software in the app may collect device information such as the advertising ID, IP address, app and device details, and ad interactions. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalised.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and some US states) you are asked for your choice before ads are requested, and you can change it at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

Google’s use of this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Network

The game works fully offline. The app uses the internet only to request ads and consent forms from Google.

Permissions

Internet and network state (ads), advertising ID (ads), vibration (optional haptics). No location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or notification permissions.

Age

Puttwright is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed at children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be published with an app update and on the store listing. For questions or requests, use the developer contact email shown on Puttwright’s Google Play page.
