This policy covers the Android app Pinfork: Chess Puzzles (package com.pinfork.tactics), published on Google Play by GameHub Official (“we”).

Summary

Pinfork does not ask for an account, your name, email, contacts, location or photos. Your training results stay on your phone.

Data stored on your device

Your puzzle rating, puzzle history, settings and simple usage counters (for example, how many puzzles you solved) are saved only in the app’s private storage on your phone. They are not sent to us. They are excluded from cloud backup and are deleted when you uninstall the app or use Settings › Reset progress.

Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google’s software in the app may collect device information such as the advertising ID, IP address, app and device details, and ad interactions. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalised.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and some US states), you are asked for your choice before ads are requested, and you can change it at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

Google’s use of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Google states that the data its ads software collects is encrypted in transit.

Network

Puzzles work fully offline. The app uses the internet only to request ads and consent forms from Google.

Age

Pinfork is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed at children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be published with an app update and on the store listing. For questions or requests, email us at the address below. This is also the developer contact email shown on Pinfork’s Google Play page.
