This policy describes how Nimbus Hop version 1.0.0 for Android (package com.gamehubofficial.nimbushop) handles information. Nimbus Hop is a free cloud platformer game supported by advertising.
Summary
- No account, sign-in, purchases, social features, or online leaderboards.
- Your game progress is stored only on your device. The developer runs no servers and does not receive your personal information.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares certain device and usage data with Google, as described below.
Information stored on your device
The app saves your level results (stars earned, best score, best time and number of plays), the number of levels completed, whether you have seen the introduction, your sound, vibration, reduced-motion and difficulty preferences, and a small ad-frequency record (for example, when the last full-screen ad was shown) in local app storage. This information stays on your device. Android cloud backup and app data transfer are disabled.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Nimbus Hop shows a banner ad on menu screens, an occasional full-screen ad between levels (never while you are playing a level), and an optional ad you can choose to watch to keep going after running out of hearts. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC (or Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), through the Google Mobile Ads SDK included in the app.
To deliver, personalise (where you allow it), and measure ads, and to detect and prevent fraud and abuse, the Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects the following and shares it with Google as a third party:
- Device identifiers: your device’s advertising ID (Android advertising ID) and app-set ID.
- IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address.
- App interactions: ad views, taps and other interactions, and app launch information.
- Diagnostics: crash logs, performance and technical data about the device, operating system and app.
This data is used for advertising, analytics (ad measurement), and fraud prevention. It is encrypted in transit. The developer does not receive it in a form that identifies you. Google’s use of this information is governed by Google’s policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Ads are filtered to content suitable for teenagers (maximum content rating “T”). The app does not use ads in a way directed at children.
Your choices and consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows a consent message from Google’s User Messaging Platform before any ads are requested, where you can accept, reject, or choose specific purposes. In US states with privacy laws, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising through the same mechanism. If you decline personalised ads, you may still see non-personalised (limited) ads, which use less data.
You can review or change your choices at any time in the app’s settings, through the ad privacy option (shown where required).
On your Android device you can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Settings → Google → Ads (on some devices Settings → Privacy → Ads). Deleting the advertising ID replaces it with zeros so it can no longer be used for personalised ads.
Playing offline
The whole game works without an internet connection. When offline, no ads are requested or shown.
Deleting your data
Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app removes all local app information, including your progress and your consent choices stored on the device. Data collected by Google through ads is handled under Google’s policies linked above; you can manage it at My Ad Center if you are signed in to a Google account.
Permissions
Internet and network state (to load ads), advertising ID (for advertising), and vibration (optional touch feedback). The app does not request camera, contacts, location, microphone, or notification permissions.
Audience
Nimbus Hop is designed for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Google Play
Google Play and Android may also handle installation, diagnostics, and device information under their own policies and settings.
Changes
If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the in-app privacy information will be updated before release, with a new date above.
