This policy describes how Comet Caravan for Android (package com.cometcaravan.trader) handles information. Comet Caravan is a free, single-player space trading game supported by advertising.

Summary

Comet Caravan does not ask for an account, your name, email, contacts, location or photos. Your game stays on your phone.

Data stored on your device

Your saved game (ship, credits, cargo, captains, markets, reputation, achievements), settings and simple usage counters (for example, how many jumps you made) are kept only in the app’s private storage on your phone. They are not sent to us. They are excluded from cloud backup (Android backup is disabled and the data extraction rules exclude everything) and are deleted when you uninstall the app. Settings › Start a new game replaces the saved game and clears the usage counters.

Advertising

The free game shows ads from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google’s software in the app may collect device information such as the advertising ID, IP address, app and device details, and ad interactions. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalised.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and some US states) you are asked for your choice (Google User Messaging Platform) before ads are requested, and you can change it at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

Google’s use of this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Ad content is limited to the “Teen” maximum rating.

Network

The game works fully offline. It uses the internet only to request ads and consent forms from Google. No game data is uploaded.

Permissions

Internet and network state (ads), advertising ID (ads), vibration (optional haptic feedback). No location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or notification permissions.

Age

Comet Caravan is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed at children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be published with an app update and on the store listing. For questions or requests, use the developer contact email shown on Comet Caravan’s Google Play page, or contact us here:
